HISTORIC PARTNERSHIP FORGED: Association of Resident Doctors-UCTH Leadership meets with speaker of 10th Cross River State Assembly

 

In a groundbreaking move, the Association of Resident Doctors, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (ARD-UCTH), has taken a giant leap towards partnering with Cross River State House of Assembly, our leadership team, led by Dr. Edim Egor, held a strategic meeting with the Speaker of the 10th Cross River State Assembly, RT Hon. ELVERT AYAMBEM.

The meeting marked the beginning of a fruitful partnership between ARD-UCTH and the Cross River State Government through the Speaker. The Speaker pledged his unwavering support for the ARD-UCTH Secretariat project, recognizing the critical role of resident doctors in shaping the state’s healthcare landscape. Rt Hon. Dr. Davies Etta,a past member of our association and current member representing Abi State Constituency, also present at the meeting, echoed the Speaker’s commitment, promising to mobilize support for the project.

Our association remains dedicated to promoting members’ welfare and establishing a state-of-the-art ARD-UCTH Secretariat without imposing additional burdens on members.
