Portable tenders apology for slapping preacher

Controversial singer Portable has broken down in tears while issuing another apology to the preacher he assaulted recently.

Last week, the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner confronted and slapped a man who had come to preach at his bar in Ogun state, an act that sparked widespread outrage on social media.

Gospel artist Testimony Jaga also gave Portable a three-day ultimatum to apologize for his actions.

In a new video, Portable, visibly emotional and on his knees, wept profusely as he expressed deep remorse.

He was surrounded by a group of people at his bar, who were chanting, “God is the King. Jesus is here.”

“I want to say this to all pastors around the world. I am your son. My brother here is your son. Whatever wrong he has done, we are sorry,” said Jaga, who was present at Portable’s bar.

Earlier, last Monday, Portable had publicly apologized, stating that he would not have slapped the preacher if he had known he was a “true man of God.”

The singer admitted he lashed out because he believed the man had come to his bar to cause him spiritual harm.
