Ondo state Assembly is set to screen the Deputy Governor nominee.
The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Olamide Oladiji has confirmed that the House has received the name of the Deputy Governor nominee from the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa. His name is Dr.Olayide Owolabi Adelaide.
Oladiji received the letter on behalf of other Lawmakers in his office and said that the Governor’s action was in line with Section 191(3)b&c of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended.
According to the Speaker, Dr Olayide who hails from Owo in Owo Local Government Area of the State is expected to appear before the House on 25th January, 2024 for screening.
