In a bid to strengthen the bond between leadership and it’s people, the Cross River State Speaker, Rt Hon. Elvert Ayambem met with the Cross River State Political Network,CRISPON on Sunday.
The Speaker, who was delighted to have met with the group, known for its largest and widest Socio-Political Network in Africa, lauded their efforts and supports during his re-election in the last general election.
In line with Governor Of Cross River State, Sen.Prince Bassey Otu all-inclusive programme, the Speaker also believed that the meeting will create a workable synergy towards promoting unity and sustainable development in the state
According to a statement signed by Matthew Okache, the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, he appealed to the group to contribute their best in ensuring that the current administration under the leadership of Gov Otu move the Cross River State to the promise land.
In his reaction, the Director General of CRISPON,Dr.Michael Nku Abuo JP, expressed gratitude to the Speaker for his hospitality and show of love to the group.
He applauded Ayambem for tireless efforts in ensuring that the state benefit the true dividends of democracy.
Dr Abuo however, assured the Speaker that they will support his administration and that of the Executive Gov in a bid to deliver the very best of governance to the people.
