Chief Peter Akpanke Pays Courtesy Call to Hon. Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development

The OBO Federal Constituency Member Elect, Chief Peter Akpanke, in the company of his colleague, Hon. Ukodhiko Jonathan Ajirioghene (Isoko North/South Fed. Constituency of Delta State), earlier today paid a courtesy call to Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, to interface with Dr. Mohammad Mahmood Abubakar, Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, in his Office, Abuja.

The meeting according to the Member-elect is to seek collaboration, partnership, and synergy with the Federal Government, Relative Ministries, MDA, and other International Organizations within the Agricultural sector in a bid to boost agricultural activities and support farmers in Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku Federal Constituency, in the next administration.

The discourse also comprised areas where farmers, investors, and entrepreneurs in the sector, can access grants, skills acquisition training, financial support, farm produce equipment, etc to benefit his prospective constituents who are predominantly farmers.

Chief Peter Akpanke further highlighted the various areas where his constituents especially farmers who have been lagging, could maximally benefit from the federal government’s benevolence to them and further prayed the Agricultural sub-sector to boost agricultural production and investment in OBO Federal Constituency. 

Chief Peter Akpanke is committed and poised to the economic, social, and infrastructural growth of the good people of Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku Federal Constituency when officially inaugurated into the 10th Assembly of Nigeria’s National Assembly.
