Following the release of Timetable for Local Government Elections in Cross River by the Cross River Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC), Social Democratic Party(SDP) has released a schedule of activities in line with the CROSIEC timetable
The Activities are as Follows;
Screening of Chairman and Councilor aspirants- 12 Oct, 2024
Last day to submit all nomination forms- 13th October, 2024
Councilorship Primaries- 14th October, 2024
Chairmanship Primaries- 15th October, 2024
Commencement of campaign by political parties- 20th October, 2024 to 1st November, 2024
Prices for forms into various offices are as follows;
Councilor- N30,000(Expression) N70,000(Nomination)
Chairman N150,000(Expression) N350,000(Nomination)
The party has also offered a 50% discount to Youths aged between 20-30 years while declaring 100% free for female aspirants and Persons living with disabilities
