Chief Samuel Egba’s Purported Blackmail On Rt. Hon. George O’ben-Etchi, Greed Borne Out Of Frustration and desperation

PART ONE (1)

A couple of days back, one self-acclaimed Chief Samuel Egba, who has over the years been parading himself as the National Youth Chairman of a certain vacuum because, to date, the said election for that position is yet to be conducted, talked more of the position being in existence. This would at least show you how mentally unstable the young man is amongst many other abnormalities bothering him.

A few months ago, the said Samuel Egba sent a text message to the Chairman of the Cross River State Forestry Commission, Rt. Hon. George O’ben-Etchi soliciting his support and intervention for him to be appointed an SSA to the Governor on the Forestry Commission, claiming to be well equipped in that field after serving in that position for a few months during the administration of the immediate past Governor, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade. See the content of the text message below; “This is Chief Samuel Egba, The Governor appointed me SSA on timber control for 5 months, during the expiration of his tenure, I did holistic research on the timber, held meetings with all the chairmen across the three senatorial districts, they all know me, but time could not permit me to implement my findings, and I know all that is happening in timber.”

On receiving the above text message, Rt. Hon. George O’ben-Etchi, in his usual manner of always showing humility and respect to everyone, immediately sent him a soft reply as seen below; “How may I be of help, sir!”

Samuel Egba immediately forwarded another text message with the contents; “I want to be returned to forestry so I can work with you. If possible, the same office as Senior Special Assistant on Timber control.” you can imagine the audacity and sarcastic attitude of someone who’s soliciting help. Rt. Hon. George O’ben-Etchi didn’t give him any reply because, to start with, that was not a decision to be made by him, especially when the Governor knows who should be where. And he wouldn’t even think of making such recommendations for someone he barely knows and can’t even vouch for.

Samuel Egba, in his usual manner of desperation and frustration, resorted to cheap blackmails and factless propaganda on the Chairman of the Forestry Commission immediately after he tried every possible means to lobby his way into the good books of the Chairman, even to the point of going fetish/diabolic.

While we await any further negative response or utterances from Samuel Egba on the person of Rt. Hon. George O’ben-Etchi, a two-term House of Assembly Member and a two-term Commissioner in Cross River State, we’ll reveal more dirty secrets and illegalities of the said Samuel Egba to show Cross Riverians the kind of person he truly is.

We’ll advise him to tender an unreserved apology to Rt. Hon. George O’ben-Etchi while we challenge him to at least win an election even if it’s ordinary Class Monitor (Head Boy) and stop causing a nuisance with campaign stickers and flyers every electioneering year and would end up not even buying the party’s nomination form.
