UFC star, Israel Adesanya is hoping that two-time former unified world heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua will defeat Daniel Dubois in their IBF heavyweight title fight and has staked $10,000 to that effect.
The all-British clash is scheduled for September 21, 2024, at the Wembley Stadium, England.
Dubois would be fighting at this venue for the first time.
Adesanya in an Instagram post on Friday shared a picture of his stake placed on September 17, 2024, with the inscriptions, “Dubois, Daniel – Joshua, Anthony.”
The bet showed that he picked Joshua to win between the 10th and 12th rounds, with an estimated payout of $50,000.
Joshua’s last fight was a knockout victory over former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
