The Senator Representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe has facilitated the construction of six(6) classroom blocks to ten (10) Primary and Secondary Schools across the five (5) Local Government Areas of the Senatorial District.
Driven by the passionate desire to improve the standard of education and providing conducive learning environments for students in Cross River North, the Lawmaker said, he will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the basic needs of his constituents are met at every given opportunity.
The benefitting schools are; St. Patrick’s Primary School, Ibil (Ogoja LGA), Community Primary School, Inyie-Ukan Gakem (Bekwarra LGA), Mbube West Secondary School, Ekumtak (Ogoja LGA), St. Pius Primary School, Nkpakna, Ekajuk 1 (Ogoja LGA), Oe’Yi Onwu Secondary Grammar School, Yahe (Yala LGA), Sacred Heart School Ezekwe/Okpodon, Igede (Yala LGA).
Others include, Community Secondary School, Uhutu, Bishiri South (Obanliku LGA), Community Primary School, Begiaba, Bendi II (Obanliku LGA), Community Primary School, Ukwel-Obudu(Obudu LGA) and Community Primary School, Ejakpe Ukutia, Utugwang North (Obudu LGA).
Residents of the benefiting communities expressed gratitude to the Lawmaker for remembering their communities that have been experiencing hardship due to lack of conducive learning environment for their children. They prayed for him and further called on God to reward him in good measures for rendering quality service to the masses.
