Chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States’ President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria, on Thursday, presided over an Extraordinary Summit of the regional body on the Political Situation in Niger Republic at the State House Conference Center in Abuja.
ECOWAS after the meeting ordered its standby force to restore constitutional order in the Niger Republic saying that all efforts made to dialogue with the Niger Republic military junta have been defiantly rejected.
