The member representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, Hon. Godwin Offiono, heartily felicitates with royal fathers, farmers and all well meaning sons and daughters of Yala all over the world on this year’s occasion of Ihi Onipipe.
The lawmaker appreciates the hard work of farmers and their role in food production which is a necessity in human existence.
Ihi Onipipe (Yala New Yam celebration), reminds us of our culture and tradition and the importance of Unity amongst us as a people. It is on this credence that the Honourable member is suing for peace, love, unity, understanding and harmonious relationship, in fostering development.
The MP also seized the opportunity to commend the organizers of the novelty Yala New Yam football competition played between Team Jari and Team Goffio. Stating that it will enhance unity and wellness.
