In an expression of gratitude, a member of the Supplementary Cocoa Allocation Committee representing the good people of Abia in Etung Local Government Area of Cross River State, Mr Amba Obaji, aka ‘King of Boy,’ played host to the Special Adviser Asset Management & Recovery, Barr Gilbert Agbor, accompanied by his entourage.
Marked by a warm reception and high-profile attendance, the visit took place on 27th July, 2024, at the instance of the committee member.
In his welcome address, Mr Obaji, extolled Barr Agbor’s leadership qualities, describing him as an exceptional leader with a unique approach to governance and asset management.
He further elaborated the Special Adviser’s contributions to the state, noting that his efforts in asset management and recovery have brought significant improvements to the Cocoa sector and the state at large.
In his response, Barr Agbor expressed his appreciation for the warm reception. He also commended the ‘King of Boys’ for his dedication and contribution to the sociopolitical and socioeconomic development of his Abia Ward and Etung in general.
The visit also provided an opportunity for the S.A and his team to engage and interact with leaders and residents, discussing issues pertinent to the development of Etung and the state in general.
