State & Federal Agencies Unite: DG SEA Visits REA’s MD/CEO for Collaboration Talks

 


Director General of the Cross River State Electrification Agency (SEA), Mr Francis Ekpo, demonstrated kindness and respect by making a courteous visit to Abba Abubakar Aliyu, who serves as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA). This visit took place on Friday, April 19th, 2024, at the headquarters of the Rural Electrification Agency in Abuja.


During the visit, Ekpo delivered sincere congratulations from the Governor, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Otu to Aliyu, acknowledging his recent appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. 

He emphasized the strong desire of the State Government to work hand in hand with the REA to improve electricity infrastructure throughout Cross River State.

“The Cross River State Government is steadfast in its dedication to establishing and nurturing a lasting partnership with your agency to ensure efficient service delivery to our state,” Ekpo emphasized, highlighting the government’s determination to foster a productive and enduring collaboration with the REA.



In response, Aliyu reassured Ekpo of his “steadfast dedication to collaborating with the Cross River State government”, guaranteeing that the state reaps the full benefits of the Federal Government’s extensive initiatives aimed at enhancing electricity nationwide.


Expressing appreciation for the warm welcome, the DG SEA vowed to “uphold frequent visits, strengthening the existing relationship for the advancement of both Cross Riverians and the entire nation.”
