Constituent embarks on 474 km trekking from Obudu-Abuja to Meet Sen. Jarigbe

 

A constituent of Cross River North Senatorial District, by nake Aruku Richard Monkom, popularly known as Eze Nmo is embarking on a 474.9 km journey on foot to pay an august visit to the Senator representing his Senatorial district in the National Assembly. 

Aruku who started his journey 2 days ago, has already arrived at Makurdi town, the capital of Benue State and is set to proceed on his journey to tje Federal Capital Territory, Abuja to see his representative. 

 

According to him, his journey was to show his appreciation for the lawmaker’s outstanding leadership and service to the people of Cross River North Senatorial District and Stae in general. 

Sen. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe who has been a member of the National Assembly since 2015, started his journey at the House of Representatives before moving to the Red Chambers after the demise of the late Sen. Rose Okoji Oko through a bye-election and victory at the polls in 2023, defeating the then governor of Cross River State.

Jarigbe has so far executed projects in different sectors, across all the Political wards in his District and has maintained the momentum in human capital development to the admiration of his constituents.
