Chief Ericbona Ushie, not involved in any EFCC case, political detractors at work- RHYM

A sociopolitical group Renewed Hope youths movement(RHYM), has reacted to reports on alleged fraud allegations against a former PDP aspirant for House of Representatives Obudu/Obanliku/Bekwarra Federal Constituency in the 2023 election, Chief Ericbona Ushie.

According to a statement signed by Comr. Bisong Clement, Spokesperson of the group, the Publication can best be described as fake news and sponsored political propaganda from detractors.

The statement reads;

The attention of Renewed Hope Youths Movement have been drawn to series of sponsored publications circulating on social media as published by some known Fake news peddlers attempting to defame Chief Ericbona Ushie.

As a group, we are committed to good governance and support for youths in business who are focused on helping the Nigeria economy grow and take youths out of poverty, an act which Chief Ushie has consistently done in his private life.

It is worthy of note to state that this is not the first time such stunt will be pulled as it was attempted on several occasions while the politician kun Businessman was still in PDP but as is always the case, the fake news died same way they were birthed.

The origin of this publication in circulation can be traced to Ushie’s former opponent in the 2023 House of Representatives Primary in PDP as one of his aide seems to be the only propagator of the publication.

 We call on the general public to diregard this cheap Political blackmail, also we challenge the sponsors of this Fake publication to come out with proofs to back up their claims or hide their faces in shame as usual.

This is a clear case of Political blackmail from mischief makers and politicians who are scared of Ushie’s rising profile. As at the time of this publication, Ushe is at his Lagos residence with his wife and lovely children.
