The Member representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Godwin Offiono has distributed sporting equipment particularly, Table Tennis court to Ten (10) selected Schools in both Ogoja and Yala LGAs of his Federal Constituency.
The distribution of the items is in line with the Honourable’s developmental plan to empowering and equipping Young people with requisite skills and human capital development, and to bring about unity and peaceful coexistence.
The following selected schools have received their equipments from the MP’s team:
1. Mbube East Secondary School, Ogoja
2. Comprehensive Secondary School, Ndok, Ogoja
3. Maryknoll College, Okuku, Yala
4. Comprehensive Secondary School, Mfuma, Yala
5. Oeyi Onwu Secondary Grammar School, Yahe, Yala
6. Christ The King Secondary School, Okpoma, Yala
7. Government Science School Wanihem, Yala
8. Ekajuk Comprehensive Secondary School, Bansara, Ogoja
9. Igbeku Comprehensive Secondary School, Imaje, Yala
10. Yache Community Secondary School, Alifokpa, Yala (to receive soon).
While receiving the items, the Heads and Pupils/Students of the benefited Schools applauded the MP for his proactive strides and developmental goals for the constituency especially the young people.
