Capt. Hart Modey Foundation skill acquisition scheme, graduates 50 trainees

The congested labour market is gradually overwhelming our economy due to high rate of unemployment and skill acquisition is now an escape route to unemployment which puts food on the table of many homes today.

According to Kevin Mangeliscots, “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime” Chief Capt Hart Modey is teaching both men and women on how to catch fish rather than giving them fish to eat.

Capt Hart Modey Foundation organized a free skill acquisition training for fifty (50) beneficiaries on leadership, entrepreneurship, soap making, gele tying, bridal hand fan production, fascinator making and a host of other skills from July 30th to 10th August, 2023, after which the trainees graduated successfully and were issued with certificates respectively.
