The member representing Obudu/Obanliku/Bekwarra Federal Constituency, Hon. Chief Peter Akpanke, has appointed, On Air Personality and Comedian, Awade Friday as his Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity.
The announcement was contained in a press release signed by the lawmaker.
Friday Awade is a Comedian, entrepreneur and politician. The OAP had in 2019, contested the Obanliku State constituency seat under the platform of Social Democratic Party(SDP) but lost to the then PDP candidate Hon. Achineken. In 2023, he also aspired for same position under the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) but stepped down before the party’s primary and threw his weight behind Chief Pius Ashakia who went on to win the election, defeating the then incumbent member.
