Cross River Assembly gets principal officers as PDP sweeps minority Positions.

 

The 10th Cross River State House of Assembly led by Rt. Hon. Elvert as speaker, has set up principal offices for the house.

The following members emerged as Majority leader, Honourable Bassey Asuquo, from Odukpani State constituency (APC), Rt. Hon. Davies Etta, Abi state constituency (APC) Deputy Majority Leader.

Others are; Chief Whip, Rt. Hon. Hillary Bisong Boki 2 State constituency(APC), Deputy Chief Whip, Rt. Hon. Ovat Agbor, Obubra 1 state constituency (APC), Minority Leader of the House, Hon. Abang Neji Ikom 1 state constituency (PDP), Deputy Minority Leader is Honourable Rita Ayim , representing Ogoja State constituency(PDP).

Others are, Minority whip, Hon. Charles Omang, Bekwarra state constituency(PDP), while the Deputy Chief Whip is Hon. Achadu Martins representing Yala 2 State constituency(PDP) 

The Labour Party member who representing Yala 1 state constituency however is the only minority party member without a principal office position. 

The Assembly Speaker also announced appointment into the 10th Assembly Statutory Committees as follows;
