As Muslims mark the Eid al-Fitr celebration all over the world today, The House of Representatives Member-elect for Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, Barr. Godwin Offiono aka Goffio Felicitates with Muslim Faithfuls in his constituency and the world at large.
The MP-elect encouraged Muslims to practicalize the lessons learned during the holy month of Ramadan by embracing one another, loving and caring for others and above all praying for the peace and development of Nigeria. He prayed for the continuous growth of Nigeria urging Nigerians to remain positive, peaceful and hopeful for a better Nigeria.
He wishes every Muslim a fulfilling Eid al-Fitr celebration, God’s guidance and provision all through the season and beyond.
Eid al-Fitr is one of two major holidays celebrated by Muslims around the world. It can be translated as “the feast of fast-breaking” as it commemorates the end of the holy month of Ramadan in which Muslims who are able to do so will fast from before dawn until after sunset each day.
