The member representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, Hon. Godwin Offiono alongside his dear wife, Mrs. Susan Offiono, yesterday paid a condolence visit to the family of Late PDP stalwart, Elder Clement Obok.
The MP signed the condolence register and sympathized with the family especially the wife and children over the sad demise. He encouraged the family to be consoled and give thanks to God amidst pains, because the Late party stalwart lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation. According to Hon. Offiono, Elder Clement was his elder brother, friend and partner who was instrumental to the mandate he holds for the people of Ogoja/Yala today. “I’m deeply saddened by the unfortunate loss and pray for the repose of his soul and fortitude to the family to bear the sad loss.”- he said.
The MP promised to remain supportive to the family before, during and after the funeral and urged the family to keep him updated on the funeral arrangements.
Elder Clement Obok was the pioneer PDP chapter chairman of Yala LGA, Cross River State.
