Gov. Otu chastise APC Chairman Eba, apologises to party leaders on his behalf

The Cross River State governor, Sen.(Prince) Bassey Otu, has called on members of All Progressives Congress (APC), in the state to embrace peace and respect for each other.

Otu in his speech at the Stakeholders meeting held yesterday in Calabar, stated that he had cautioned the party chairman on several occasions to jettison the idea of punishing party members for different offences.

He added that, he(Eba), needed to respect elders in the party and restrain from responding to calls for his sack by granting interviews on radio and engaging in social media banters.

To calm the nerves, the governor tendered an apology on behalf of Eba and passed a Vote of confidence on the state chairman while urging party faithfuls with various court cases against the party or individuals within the party to withdraw them within 7 days.
