Deputy Speaker, Kalu congratulates Adighije on appointment as MD, CEO of Niger Delta Power Holding Company

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu has congratulated Engr. Jennifer Adighije on her appointment as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Levinus Nwabughiogu, Kalu said that the appointment is a testament to Adighije’s exceptional skills and dexterity sufficiently displayed overtime in engineering and management functions in the public and private sectors of the economy.

He said that Adighije who prior to her new appointment was the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to President on Entrepreneurship Development in Communication Innovation and Digital Economy has showcased cognate experience and the prerequisites needed for her elevation.

A master’s degree holder in Wireless Networks and Telecommunications from Queen Mary University of London, UK, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, Kalu is optimistic that Engr. Adighije is technically equipped to bring the much needed innovation in the company to achieve its mandate.

The Deputy Speaker also commended President Tinubu for the appointment.

While urging the new MD of NDPHC to make Nigerians proud, Kalu who also represents Bende Federal Consituency of Abia State pledged his unwavering support to ensure that Engr. Adighije succeeds on her new assignment.
