Idum-Mbube Chiefs Confer Sen Jarigbe Agom With Chieftaincy Title

 

The Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe has been conferred with the Chieftaincy title of “Buturo Oturikang 1 of Idum nation”, which means “The Light of Idum Nation”,by members of the Mbube traditional rulers council in Ogoja Local Government Area of Cross River State.

The conferment is in recognition of the lawmaker’s quality representation of his constituents at the National Assembly as well as his contribution to the general wellbeing of humanity. 

The council led by His Royal Highness, Buturo Peter Egbelo Ejue (Buturo Idum V) and His Royal Highness, Buturo Franklin Odey Agba (Clan Head of Idum South) described Jarigbe as a celebrated man of the people and an embodiment of quality representation which transcends the ability to move motions on the floor of the Senate as well as driving down life-changing infrastructural and human capital projects to the Senatorial District.

Represented by Chief James Obi Achara, Jarigbe appreciated the traditional rulers and the good people of Idum-Mbube community for the recognition and support. He promised to continue giving his best for the interest of the people at every given opportunity.
