Don Alex Ajor Foundation (DAAF) earlier today, presented cash support to victims of windstorm at Ijibor Community of Bekwarra Local Government Area.
The windstorm and relentless downpour has caused widespread destruction rendering over 80 families homeless in the Community.
MD of the Foundation who was received by the community head, Chief Patrick Oko Obule noted that, it has been a devastating and challenging experience for the people, especially the vulnerable older adults who were already facing hardships before the disaster struck.
He called on NEMA, political and economic leaders as well as other well meaning members of the public, to rise to the challenges faced by victims of the disaster.
Chief Patrick Oko Obule said, the entire community is inspired by the generosity of Mr Don Alex Ajor and his critical support to help cushion the effect of the disaster.
