The Chairman of National Population Commission, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra, fnsa, alongside other dignitaries l, yesterday attended the 41st Inaugural Lecture of the University of Abuja titled ‘The Paradox of Population Growth in National Development’
The 41st Inaugural lecture which was delivered by the President of Population Association of Nigeria (PAN), Prof. Rhoda Mundi, held at the Main Campus of the University of Abuja.
The Lecture examined the contributory factors of population growth to every nations development and economy.
Nigeria is set to conduct its first digital population and housing Census this year.
Recall that the commission had slated the exercise to take place in earlier this year but the exercise was postponed by the Buhari led administration and a new date is yet to be announced by the Tinubu administration.
