The Member representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, Hon. Godwin Offiono, Esq., has facilitated the construction of a divisional police station, 4- Man Police officers’ quarters, and other amenities at Okpoma, Yala LGA, Cross River State. The project also includes:
– A 150mm borehole with an 8,000-liter overhead tank
– A 5.5kVA generating set and generator house
– Linear meter block work fence
The project which is ongoing, upon completion will provide the Yala Divisional Police Headquarters with a permanent, modern police station, officers’ quarters, 24-hour power supply, potable water, and other essential amenities to enhance their duties. This is the first time the divisional police station will be moving out of a rented apartment in about 25 years of Yala existence.
Hon. Offiono prioritizes the security and safety of his constituents and has assured continued efforts towards better representation in the constituency. He commended the traditional rulers and host community for their support.
