Ipem Ihihe: Don Alex Ajor Foundation Distributes Wrappers and Cash Gifts To Widows And Vulnerable Women In Bekwarra LGA

As the countdown to the Bekwarra New Yam Festival (Ipem-Ihihe) begins, the Don Alex Ajor Foundation (DAAF) has distributed wrappers and cash gifts to selected widows and vulnerable women across the ten (10) political wards of Bekwarra Local Government Area of Cross River State, to mark this year’s celebration.

Addressing the beneficiaries, the CEO who was represented by the MD, Sani Mohammed noted that the outreach was aimed at remembering the widows and vulnerable women in the communities and to give them a sense of belonging, as well as cater for their needs.

He wished them a peaceful celebration, sued for peaceful coexistence, cohesion etc and further emphasized that the festival is not just a cultural celebration, but an opportunity to showcase their rich cultural heritage, promote unity and also give gratitude to God almighty for the gift of life.

Commenting, the women who were full of happiness, expressed gratitude to the CEO of the Foundation, Mr. Don Alex Ajor Jnr and further prayed that God should continue to strengthen him and the entire management of DAAF Foundation.
