Over last week, the House of Representatives Committee on Police Institutions was on oversight function to some Police Commands and Institutions across the Country.
The Committee led by its Chairman, Hon. Mohammed Salihu and able Deputy Chairman, Hon. Godwin Offiono representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, alongside other committee members, visited Edo, Anambra, Enugu, Cross River, Rivers, Ondo, and Kwara States Police Commands, as well as police institutions.
The Committee inspected and interacted with Commissioners of Police, and administrators of the institutions visited, on the best possible ways to improve on the dilapidated state of the infrastructure across the country.
