Sen. Jarigbe, Wife Attend Nigeria’s 63rd Anniversary, Says Nation Will Overcome Despite Challenges

 

Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, DSSRS, has stated that Nigeria would fulfill her divine mandate as the largest and most powerful black nation in the world despite the current challenges.

Speaking at the Interdenominational Church Service held at the Ecumenical Centre (National Christian Centre), Abuja yesterday, Senator Jarigbe, said the nation still faces other challenges in the areas of security, good governance, unity and corruption.

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Gas, noted that, Nigerians must grow beyond ethinicity and primordial sentiments in an attempt to resolve some national questions, adding that to achieve meaningful progress and record development strides as a nation, we must come together as a virile and united people.

He called on Nigerians not to despair as there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

Dignatries at the event include the President of the Senate, H.E Godswill Akpabio, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, H. E George Akume, the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, H. E Nyesom Wike, Senator Bamidele Opeyemi, Senators Eteng Williams Jones, Asuquo Ekpenyong, Ifeanyi Ubah, Service Chiefs and other top government functionaries as well as many other dignitaries from all walks of life.
