Nigeria @63: Hon. Godwin Offiono hails Nigerians on Independence Day.

 

As Nigeria commemorates 63 years of her Independence today 1st of October, 2023, the House of Representatives member for Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency wishes to congratulate the nation and fellow Nigerians on the remarkable journey so far. 

The Member who took cognizance of the bonds that have held the Nation amidst challenges, hails the past and present leaders of the country for their relentless effort in keeping Nigeria together and progressive. 

The Lawmaker heaped praises on Nigeria past Heroes who fought relentlessly with their lives for the attainment of independence in October 1st 1960. According to him, we cannot celebrate this day without recognizing the tremendous efforts of our past Heroes that fought for the Independence we enjoy today. He also commended the present leadership at all levels of Government who are working tirelessly for the good of the country. 

Hon. Offiono applauded Nigerians for their patience, hard work, dedication and belief in the Nigeria project despite its economic difficulties, which he assures will be addressed in no distant time. Despite the difficulties Nigerians are facing, they have never regretted being proud citizens of Nigeria. “I congratulate and applaud Nigerians for their courage, hard work, and love for the country. I strongly believe things will get better because suffering may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. There’s light at the end of the tunnel. 

“As a lawmaker, I will work collaboratively with my colleagues and other arms and tiers of government in making sure good laws and policies are formulated for the good of Nigerians. I will not relent in my desire to seeing a better Nigeria that Nigerians and the global community would be proud of.” – Hon. Offiono said.
