The Member representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, Hon. Godwin Offiono has dedicated his victory at the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal to God and Victims of ongoing communal crisis in Yala Local Government Area and other parts of the constituency.
He dedicated the victory to victims of communal crisis in Ijiegu-Yache, Benekaba, Adum, Ujama, Igbekurikor and Ugaga communities of Yala LGA and other parts of Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency of Cross River State and admonishes constituents to pray more for affected communities.
Speaking shortly after the ruling of the tribunal, the lawmaker also thanked God for the victory and his constituents for standing by him at the polls and throughout the period of the tribunal.
Hon. Offiono was today, at the Tribunal sitting in Calabar, the Cross River State capital, in case number HR/02/2023, reaffirmed as the winner of the February 25th 2023 House of Representatives election for Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency.
