First Lady’s “Renewed Hope Initiative” to focus on Health, Education, Economic empowerment & Agriculture

 …Appoints Coordinators in states and Local Governments

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu on Friday met with wives of the 36 State Governors in her office to formally introduce and familiarize them with the objectives and the mission of the Renewed Hope Initiative, RHI. The Renewed Hope Initiative is the pet project of the Office of The First Lady of Nigeria.

“I wish to remind each of us that the exalted positions we are in today should be seen as an opportunity to impact more meaningfully, not only in the lives of people in your states but in Nigeria as a whole,” she said

The President’s wife congratulated the wives of the governors on the successful conduct of the 2023 elections which brought their husbands to office and reminded them that it is time to keep promises made during the elections.

The Wives of the Governors are expected to elect a Renewed Hope Initiative Zonal Coordinator and choose issues to focus on in their states.

In attendance were the Wives of Governors, The members of RHI Governong council Dr Betta Edu the APC National Women Leader, Prof Ganduje, H.E Mrs Gbajabiamila, the Senior SSA on Strategy and Policy, Wahab Alewiye, and the Special Adviser on Media, Busola Kukoyi.
