In a powerful display of unity and appreciation, the Ward Coordinators of Sen. Jarigbe and Stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Obanliku Local Government Area, Cross River State, have unanimously passed a vote of confidence in the leadership and representation of Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, representing Cross River North Senatorial District.
The resolution was adopted on May 20, 2025, at the residence of Hon. Dr. Benjamin Ambe, Coordinator for Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe.
The meeting, which brought together key stakeholders from across the 10 political wards of Obanliku LGA, highlighted the Senator’s outstanding performance and impactful leadership over the past two years. The stakeholders praised his commitment to responsive governance, people-focused policies, and tangible development projects that have transformed communities and rekindled hope in democratic dividends.

RESOLUTION OF WARD COORDINATORS, FOR SENATOR JARIGBE AGOM JARIGBE STAKEHOLDERS OF THE PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP), OBANLIKU LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA, CROSS RIVER STATE, FOLLOWING A ONE-DAY STRATEGIC MEETING HOSTED BY HON. DR. BENJAMIN AMBE, COORDINATOR FOR DISTINGUISHED SENATOR JARIGBE AGOM JARIGBE, HELD AT HIS RESIDENCE ON 20TH MAY, 2025.
We, the Ward Coordinators and Stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Obanliku Local Government Area, having gathered in unity and purpose at the residence of Hon. Dr. Benjamin Ambe, express our profound appreciation for the outstanding representation, impactful leadership, and transformative service delivery of the Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe.
After a thorough appraisal of the Senator’s performance over the past two years, we are proud to highlight numerous developmental projects, life-changing interventions, and people-focused policies executed across the ten political wards of Obanliku LGA. These projects are not mere tokens they are tangible evidence of responsive leadership rooted in empathy, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to the people of Obanliku.
We note with pride that every ward in Obanliku has felt the Senator’s touch from the construction of classroom blocks and provision of solar powered boreholes to the installation of street lights, supply of hospital equipment, and empowerment of youths, women, and farmers. His leadership has translated into real progress, job creation, improved education, better healthcare, and infrastructural upliftment. The Senator’s initiatives have not only transformed communities but have also rekindled hope in democratic dividends through purposeful governance.
We therefore note that, in recognition of these verifiable achievements and his steadfast loyalty to the PDP:
1. We hereby unanimously pass a VOTE OF CONFIDENCE in the leadership and representation of Distinguished Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe.
2. We affirm that no genuine supporter of the Senator has defected from the PDP, and we declare with one voice that no loyal stakeholder of this great movement is willing to defect to any non-performing political platform that lacks vision, ideology, or connection to the grassroots, except for their selfish interests which is the quest to grab power.
3. We reaffirm our collective resolve to remain steadfast with the PDP and stand firmly with Senator Jarigbe’s leadership. The force of 2023(The Unconquered Generation) a movement powered by divine purpose, people’s trust, and proven performance remains intact and active under the grace of Almighty God.
4. Despite desperate efforts by agents of disunity and detractors to fragment our ranks, we declare that the PDP family in Obanliku remains solid, unshaken, and united in our pursuit of progress and political continuity.
5. We encourage Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe to remain courageous and focused. Your people are behind you, your legacy is visible, and your path is clear. As Coordinators and Stakeholders, we pledge our unwavering loyalty and look up to your guidance, decision, and vision as we look ahead to 2027.
6. We commend our Leadership for their strategic coordination, unrelenting support for the Senator, and hosting of this crucial meeting that has further cemented our unity and reaffirmed our shared commitment to the progress of Obanliku and Cross River North.
This resolution is a testament to our faith in the PDP, our loyalty to Distinguished Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, and our belief that under his continued leadership, Obanliku and indeed Cross River North will rise to even greater heights.
